Why prefer Haibo LiFePO4 batteries?
• LiFePO4 (Lithium-Iron-Phosphate) is currently known as the safest, most stable and most reliable lithium battery in the world.
• The cycle life of a LiFePO4 battery is more than 4x longer than other lithium batteries. As standard, they can reach up to 7,000 cycles. Due to this, the LiFePO4 battery can be used for many years longer than other types of lithium batteries, so the cost of its purchase is much more favorable.
• LiFePO4 have a very low self-discharge, which is less than 2% per month. A charged battery hardly loses capacity and is always ready for use. Compared to conventional Lithium-ion batteries, cells using LiFePO4 have a lower voltage, but this is compensated by a much slower decrease in maximum capacity. An indisputable advantage is also that the output voltage of LiFEPO4 does not rise above the value that some electric motors evaluate as an overvoltage. The battery will not catch fire or explode when overcharged, over-discharged, short-circuited, punctured by a foreign object, etc., as can happen with other types of lithium batteries. It has high thermal stability up to 500 °C.
• LiFePO4 do not contain any toxic or heavy metals such as lead and cadmium or dangerous corrosives. Therefore, they are considered to be one of the most environmentally safe batteries today.
