The stainless steel Garda Line Guard guides allow you to fish in places that are inaccessible from your position. They can also be used to guide the line or cord over a strip of plants or other obstacles. While the classic Y-guide has a hole for the line to enter at the top, the Q model has a hole at the bottom, which allows you to guide the line in a different way than to the sides.
