Booster is smoother and bulkier than dip. It is therefore mainly used for baits, i.e. boilies, pellets, Method, Zig or PVA mixes, particles and the like. It is also designed to give you the same flavor of the bait boilie as the boilie you are fishing with. Baits can be watered with it for a long time in advance, with the exception of rapidly disintegrating pellets. Boosters do not dissolve PVA materials, so you can sprinkle prepared PVA stockings with them shortly before casting. However, if you are doing this a long time in advance, be aware that there may be ingredients in the booster (especially fish flavors) that slow down the breakdown of the PVA.
