The Free Spirit Hi-S Power Feeder XSD are designed for extreme distance feeder fishing and their performance is exceptional, especially on the 13' (390cm) model. They are based on the Barbel Feeders rods and have a strong bottom and a hollow carbon tip top. The 12' rod has a 4oz vibrating tip and the 13' rod has a 5oz. The rods are equipped with premium yet lightweight guides with larger dimensions, which allow for extra long casts and the use of shock rigs. In testing these rods were able to cast over 100m and in some European tests with thin braided lines they reached distances of 140-150m.
XSD rods are built on the best Japanese Hi-S blanks. They also have an extended cork handle for extra long casts. Of course, the rods are varnish-free, high-quality vibrating tips and first-class components.
