Catfish boilies are large 30x25 mm baits designed primarily for catfish fishing, on which fish over 2 m in length have been caught. They are meaty fish baits with the flavor of fish, liver and marine animals. Large, firm boilies in the shape of a nugget can last for many hours when baited and safely resist attacks from smaller fish. Sometimes trophy carp will also take them. We have found that feeding them with a stronger bait, either with a meaty boilie or halibut pellets, has proven to be effective.
