The Hi-S ive rods are made from the same blank as the Hi-S rods, i.e. from the best Japanese Low Resin 40T carbon. However, they are designed to allow the longest and most accurate throws possible. The lower part is therefore slightly wider and stiffer to prevent flexing when thrown, while the extremely fast tip can launch the pencil incredibly far. At the same time, she is very sensitive. This makes the Hi-S ive unexpectedly pleasant to tackle and completely dispels the myth of stiff casting rods.
The surface of the rods is matte, without varnish, laser-ground. Thanks to this technology, they are practically impossible to scratch. Even after years they look like new. The saddle has a blank design with original FUJI rings, a blue isotope is built into the saddle. The rods are equipped with six first-class S-lite SiC guides. Hi-S ive rods are equipped with large eyes (50 - 16mm) as standard. The handle can be supplied in three designs. By default, it is split, where there is a reinforced handle at the end of the rod at the point of grip. It can be all cork or all EVA (special Japanese rubber). The length of the handle from the end to the leg of the winch is 58 cm for 12' models, 60 cm for 13' models. With the cork handle, the reel is 2 cm lower. On request, you can order a different length of the handle, have your name or initials written on the rod, but then you need to expect a longer delivery time. All Hi-S ive rods are handcrafted in England.
12' 3.5lb - 12' power casting model with great action. In the right hands, it can reach distances of over 160m. From 100 - 130g.
12' 3.5lb ER - The Hi-S ive ER has a specially modified blank to make it even faster and more responsive. This makes it the ultimate no-compromise casting rod. H 382g, D 15mm, Z 100 - 130g.
13' 3.5lb - A brilliant rod for extreme distances, up to around 180m. At the same time, it has a very pleasant action, it is very sensitive when tackling. H 427g, D 16mm, Z 100 - 130g.

H - weight of the complete rod including eyes.

Z - optimal load for full swing. Even much heavier loads can be cast with a pull or a medium swing.
