Free Spirit CTX Rods 12'

CTX are rods with first-class Free Spirit quality at a very favorable price. Their blank is very thin and light, but at the same time strong. Thanks to the special method of weaving the layers of carbon, a "snake" pattern of Bi-Axis Carbon Tape is created on the surface. The biggest advantage of CTX rods is the perfect accuracy and dynamics that allow you to reach much greater distances when casting. You will literally be amazed at how it flows out of them. The rods will excite you even during tackle with their pleasant action.
The surface of the rods is completely specific. The individual wraps of carbon fibers are visible not only visually, but also to the touch. This is due to the fact that, like other FS models, the CTX is also without paint. The saddle is an original FUJI DPS. The rods are equipped with six first-class S-lite SiC guides. For the 2.5lb and 2.75lb models the leader is 40mm, the trailing 12mm, for the 12' 3lb and 3.25lb you can choose between standard (40mm - 12mm) and large eyelets (50 - 16mm), the other models only have large eyes (50 - 16mm). The handle is split as standard, where there is a reinforced handle at the end of the rod at the point of grip. All 12' models except the 2.5lb are offered in full cork handles, the 12'6" and 13' rods only have a split handle. The length of the handle from the end to the foot of the reel is 59cm for the 12' and 12'6" models and 62cm for the 13'. With the cork handle, the reel is 2 cm lower.

12' 2.5lb - Once you get your hands on it, you'll fall in love with it. Despite its delicacy, it has enough power to tame trophy carp or grass carp. H 260g, D 12mm, Z 60 - 75g.
12' 2.75lb - If you are looking for a finer all round rod this is the right choice. He can cast over 120m, while being incredibly gentle. H 285g, D 12.2mm, W 70 - 85g.
12' 3lb - One of the most versatile rods on the market. He can cast very far, can handle even heavier leads, and is very flexible. H 288g, D 12.5mm, Z 80 - 100g.
12' 3.25lb - An excellent rod for larger waters and rivers. It casts great with it, while it has a very sensitive tip, finer than many 3lb. H 310g, D 12.9mm, W 90-105g.
12' 3.5lb - This 3.5lb isn't stiff either. If you need a nice rod for long casting and heavier loads, there is nothing to worry about. H 337g, D 13mm, Z 100 - 120g.
12' 3.5lb SU - Power throw variant with reinforced bottom. The fast tip can cast loads very far and accurately. H 393g, D 14mm, W 105 - 130g.
12'6” 3.25lb - A very responsive soft rod that is also great for casting, especially if you are casting with a pull rather than a quick swing. H 339g, D 13.9mm, W 85 - 100g.
12'6” 3.5lb - Same as 3.25lb in this 3.85m length but with more power reserve to allow for heavier loads and therefore longer casts. H 377g, D 14.4mm, W 90 - 110g.
13' 3.5lb - 3.96m rod for lovers of longer rods. It has enough power to throw heavier leads, the sensitive tip prevents cutting fish. H 404g, D 15mm, Z 100 - 120g.
13' 3.5lb SU - An affordable alternative to the 13' Hi-S ive, this is the perfect rod pattern for long casting while maintaining a nice tackle. H 440g, D 15mm, W 105 - 130g.

H - weight of the complete rod including eyes.
P - diameter (thickness) of the rod above the seat.
Z - optimal load for full swing. Even much heavier loads can be cast with a pull or a medium swing.
