The Ashima FFX D 3.6m 3lb carp rods in matt black are the right rods for heavy work. They have very thin SiC guides, a DSP 18 reel seat, a classic slip-on clutch and a split handle with a flared bottom grip. The action is semi-parabolic, which allows both long throws and pleasant tackling. The rod comes with either classic 40mm or large 50mm guides.
